21 Weeks

Hey everyone! It has been awhile since I've updated you all on Baby Everlee. I will be 24 weeks this coming Thursday and I am so excited to be hitting "viable week." This means a lot to me considering we lost our last little babe. Life has been hectic, stressful, amazing and going by SO fast. We will be leaving North Carolina in less than 2 months and while I am unbelievably stressed about it, I am so ready to be back on the west coast near all of our family. In the mean time, here is mine and baby girl's update so far:

How far along? Right now I am 23 weeks + 4 days! Her face is fully-formed and she just needs some more fat to fill it out. :)

Total weight gain/loss: At my last appt (20weeks), I had gained a total of a pound and a half, but I am up to 7 pounds gained (according to my scale at home).

Maternity clothes? None yet. Although my pants are getting tight and I did go up a size in my khaki pants for work.

Stretch marks? Still none! I am really trying hard to keep it this way too. I still use my Mama Bee Stretch Mark Cream and I got some Vitamin E oil in my last BumpBox, so I will be using that soon.

Sleep: All I want is sleep! During the night I wake up several times to pee and I did go through a weird spell of constantly waking up with my hands/arms being asleep and to Charlie horses. The worst!

Symptoms: Lower back pain (when will it go away?!), really tired. So nothing too major!

Have you told family and friends: Everyone knows. :)

Miss Anything? We have been having some really warm days here in Fayetteville and I have been craving a nice cold beer or any alcoholic drink, really. Lol! Also, with spring break approaching, I can feel me missing a nice cold drink even more.

Movement: Lots and lots! It is my favorite thing in the world.

Food cravings: Frozen waffles. At any time. And cherries.

Anything making you queasy or sick: The last thing that made me sick was a chicken sausage, egg white and cheese English muffin a week or two ago. Other than that, nothing!

Have you started to show yet: Oh my goodness, yes! As you can tell from the pictures.

Gender prediction: Baby girl.

Ultrasound Update: We had our anatomy scan at 20 weeks and she is growing perfectly! Healthy heart beat in the 140's.

Labor Signs: No

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Very happy and excited! Although, I do find myself for irritable especially when I am tired.

Looking forward to: Our next appointment at 24 weeks!

23 Weeks

How far along? 8 weeks, 4 Days (EDD is June 22, 2017)

Total weight gain/loss: Last I knew it was about 2 pounds. Hopefully that number hasn't gone up.

Maternity clothes? Not yet! Wearing lots of leggings, workout clothes and anything comfy.

Stretch marks? Nope! Honestly, I've been too tired and haven't been keeping up on my Mama Bee Stretch Mark Cream. I need to get on it.

Sleep: I've still been sleeping great and getting lots of it. Lots of napping and then going to bed early. Same as usual.

Symptoms: Still suffering through terrible breakouts. Guys I've never had this kind of cystic acne before. My poor chin. :( My lower back pain still isn't as frequent but when it does come, it hurts so bad! Still feeing "car sick" practically all day. So that has been fantastic.

Best moment this week: Telling all of our family the awesome news! It has been great being able to talk to people about it. And both of our families are SO excited. We can't wait to announce it publicly. :')

Have you told family and friends: Just about all the family know finally!

Miss Anything? Cold sandwiches and sushi. So unlike me on the cold sandwich part. I'm more of a heated sandwich type of girl but I have been craving cold turkey or ham sandwiches and I'm really upset that I can't have cold lunch meat!!

Movement: I sure wish! I can't wait for the day.

Food cravings: Cold turkey/ham sandwiches & sushi. I kind of curbed my sushi craving the other day with a california roll. I sure miss salmon rolls though! Also, I really miss having some energy

Anything making you queasy or sick: Still feel really queasy anytime I get hungry. Today was a crappy day because I just could not eat anything but soup and I was still feeling nauseous.

Have you started to show yet: I feel like it but I know most of it is bloat.

Gender prediction: Guys, if this baby isn't a girl I will be so surprised considering all the beauty she is taking from me! Haha! seriously baby, quit making me break out so badly!

Ultrasound Update: At 7 weeks, baby had a healthy heartbeat of 128 BPM, and is measuring only one day behind! My next ultrasound is December 1st when I'm exactly 11 weeks.

Labor Signs: No

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Tired but still very HAPPY! Shae can probably beg to differ. I have caught myself being incredibly moody but he handles it quite well. Haha!

Looking forward to: Getting out of this 1st trimester so we can shout the news from the rooftops and so I can start hopefully feeling better. But FIRST, getting our 11 week ultrasound.

I am so incredibly happy to have made it through my fifth week with no problems! During my 5th week last time is when all the problems began. But here we are, going into our 6th week tomorrow! Also, how is October almost over? This month flew by! I called and made my appointment and we go in on November 3rd which will make me exactly 7 weeks. I am counting down the seconds until that appointment.

How far along? 5 weeks, 6 Days (EDD is June 22, 2017)

Total weight gain/loss: I am still not sure yet. I do not want to step on a scale until my first doctor appointment.

Maternity clothes? None yet.

Stretch marks? No! And I got two jars of Mama Bee Belly Butter. So I am hoping this helps with prevention.

Sleep: Thankfully my insomnia has gone away and I have been getting LOTS of sleep. And I mean lots. I usually get a nap in during the day and then still go to bed early.

Symptoms: Pretty much the same as last week. Lower back pain, terrible breakouts, fatigue/exhaustion, sore nipples, and I'm still so damn thirsty all the time.

Best moment this week: Getting my pregnancy pillow in the mail and getting our first appointment scheduled earlier than 8 weeks!

Have you told family and friends: My mom is the only one in our family that knows, and a few close friends know here.

Miss Anything? I was missing rare steak but not so much anymore.

Movement: Not yet/ Can't wait for the day though!

Food cravings: Not really but I still feel like I need to eat immediately after I get hungry.

Anything making you queasy or sick: I really wanted Mexican food Friday night and we went out to my favorite Mexican Restaurant, I took a bite of my second carne asada taco and almost sprinted to the bathroom to throw up. My guess is that it was the steak.

Have you started to show yet: No. Just still really bloated!

Gender prediction: I still think it is a girl, and Shae still thinks it is a boy.

Labor Signs: No

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Hormonal, but still SO HAPPY!

Looking forward to: Continuing to progress and getting more pregnancy symptoms.
